Candidate should obtain non zero positive score in JEE Main Paper I or the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in CET and should obtain non zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority. VIT Pune Admission Process
VIT Pune offers admission to undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level courses. Vishwakarma Institute of Technology admission to undergraduate courses is based on the marks obtained by candidates in the MHT-CET/JEE Main. For VIT Pune M.Tech and M.C.A admissions, candidates’ score in GATE and MAH MCA CET is taken into consideration, respectively. For Ph.D course candidates need to appear for the entrance exam conducted by the Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), Pune, which is followed by a round of interview. First round of selection of UG and PG admissions is followed by a round of state level counselling as well.

VIT Pune UG Admissions
Candidates seeking admission must first meet the eligibility criteria.
Eligible candidates must apply for admission by filling the online application form.
Applicants need to appear for the MHT-CET/JEE Main.
Maharashtra candidates need to appear for MHT-CET and all India candidates are required to sit for the JEE Main.

VIT Pune M.Tech Admission Process
Candidates seeking admission must meet the VIT Pune eligibility criteria and apply for admission by filling the online application form.
The eligible candidates need to appear for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) entrance exam.
Next, the GATE cutoff is released.
Candidates who clear the cut-off need to register for the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra.
Candidates need to fill the college and course of their choice in preference order.
Based on choice filled and the marks of students in GATE exam, merit list is released.
