Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, New Delhi was established as an ambitious project of Jamia Hamdard in the year 2012 and the main aim of the project was to provide healthcare at an affordable cost and widen the scope of life sciences and health domains. The institute is also known as HIMSR. The institute is a constituent unit of Jamia Hamdard and is a self-financing unaided Private Medical Institute. Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, New Delhi is aided by 510 bedded teaching Hakeem Abdul Hameed Centenary (HAHC) Hospital and this is in compliance with the standards of Medical council of India guidelines. Community Medicine, Anaesthesia, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Anatomy, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Radio-Diagnosis, Dermatology, ENT & Head And Neck Surgery, Medicine, Dentistry, Microbiology, Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Pathology, Physiology, Surgery, Psychiatry and Respiratory Medicine are the departments of HIMSR. Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, New Delhi is recognised by the Medical Council of India. HIMSR offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses to the students.
MBBS TOTAL FEES: RS 72.40 LAKHS
Candidates have to apply and appear for NEET UG exam conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to the MBBS course offered by HIMSR.
Candidates with required NEET percentile will have to register for NEET UG Counselling.
Further candidates have to participate in the counselling process for choice filling, choice locking and seat allotment.
The counselling is conducted by The Directorate General of Health Sciences (DGHS) on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
Aspirants have to choose Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, New Delhi for the choice locking during the counselling.
After the seat allotment, candidates have to report to Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, New Delhi for institute level document verification and fee payment.
Final admission will be based on the marks secured in NEET UG , participation in the counselling process, seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.
