Overview
Institute of Medical Sciences and SUM Hospital (IMS and SUM Hospital) was established in 2007 with an annual intake of 150 seats for MBBS programme. IMS and SUM Hospital is affiliated to Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan and is approved by Medical Council of India (MCI). IMS and SUM Hospital admission is entrance based.

Admission
The institute offers MBBS at UG, MD/MS at PG and DM/MCh at Super Specialty (SS) level all under one roof. Institute of Medical Sciences and SUM Hospital admission is entrance based.
- Candidates must apply for NEET UG conducted by NTA to take admission in MBBS
- For MD/MS programmes, admission will be based on the qualifying marks obtained in NEET PG
- DM and MCh admission is based on NEET SS conducted by NBE
- Candidates must apply online for the application process of UG, PG and SS entrance exam
- Admission is done strictly based on the score obtained in the entrance exams
Eligibility
Qualifying exam: NEET UG
Candidates must have passed Class 12 with atleast 50% aggregate in PCB along with English as a compulsory subject

- Scorecard or rank letter
- Provisional allotment letter
- Original Class 10 certificate
- Original Class 12 marksheet
- Caste certificate (SC/ ST/ OBC category candidates)
- PwD certificate (if applicable)
- ID proof (Aadhar/ PAN card/ driving license/ passport)
- 7-8 passport-size photographs
