St. John’s Medical College is one of the top 10 Indian Medical colleges established in 1963 It is a public Institute run by the Catholic Bishops’ conference of India and has also been approved by MCI. MBBS admission is based on NEET-UG score followed by counselling rounds conducted by KEA.
Candidates seeking admission in the B.Sc program must have passed 10+2 with 50% aggregate marks. MD and MS admissions are based on NEET-PG followed by counselling. The NEET-PG 2021 has been postponed. The mode of application of the college is Online.

St. John’s Medical College offers MBBS, BPT, and B.Sc. degree programs to eligible candidates at the undergraduate level.
- The B.Sc. program is offered in four disciplines, viz. Medical Lab. Technology (MLT), Renal Dialysis (RDT), Medical Imaging Technology (MIT), Perfusion Technology (PT), Anesthesia Technology (AT), Radiotherapy Technology (RT), and Operation Theatre Technology (OTT).
- The eligibility criteria for MBBS programs is a pass in 10+2 or equivalent exam with PCB and English.
- Candidates are further required to fulfill additional eligibility criteria set by Karnataka Examination Authority. B.Sc. and BPT candidates must pass 10+2 or equivalent exam with 40% marks in science stream.

- For admission to B.Sc. Imaging Technology and B.Sc. Radiotherapy Technology programs, the candidate should have passed Pre-university OR equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics, as principal subjects of study.
- Candidates who have completed pre-university courses with Vocational Physiotherapy and their optional subjects are eligible for admission to the BPT course.
- The minimum marks eligibility criteria For Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes of Karnataka State is only 40%.
St. John’s Medical College UG Selection Process
MBBS: Admission will be granted on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test UG (NEET-UG) followed by a round of counseling conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA).
Allied Health Sciences: Admission will be done on the basis of an entrance exam conducted by the institute followed by an interview.
