VIT Vellore offers its flagship B.Tech program which is offered for a duration of 4 years via regular mode and in 10 different specializations of Engineering and Technology. Admission to the B.Tech program at VIT Vellore is strictly done on the basis of the merits secured by the students in the VITEEE exam score followed by general counseling sessions. VIT Vellore charges a fee of INR 1.98 Lakh per year for its B.Tech program. VIT Vellore Admission for 2022 has been concluded.
VIT Vellore admission process involves other national level examinations too such as NATA, UCEED, GATE, CAT for the programs such as B.Arch, B.Des, M.Tech, MBA respectively.
Eligibility
- Candidate must be a Indian National / NRI/ PIO/ OCI holder.
- Must have passed 10+2
- Minimum marks obtained must be 60% in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Biology (PCM/ PCB) in class 12 or equivalent exam.

Cut-off
VITEEE Cutoff 2022 will be released for each engineering stream, with higher and lower cutoffs based on candidate preferences. Candidates who will score 118 or higher would most likely be in the range of 1-250. Candidates with marks of less than 31 will be put into 20,000 or lower rank.
Candidates on the merit list will be called to participate in VITEEE Counselling. The counselling will be conducted on the basis of Rank Lists prepared as per the candidate’s percentile score in the examination. VIT Amaravati and Bhopal campuses are relatively new, so the cutoff of these institutes is not available currently.
